Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye lead favorite K-drama stars among American fans

Based on a survey participated by thousands of American K-drama viewers, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye have emerged to be the most popular Korean stars. Who else are in the Top 10 favorite actors and actresses? And, which K-dramas are the most popular among American fans?

The Korea Creative Content Agency conducted a study via online K-drama streaming sites over a two-week period that was participated by 4,753 viewers located in the United States. The most popular Korean actors, actresses, and dramas were reported based on the survey results.

In the male category, Lee Min Ho is chosen as the most popular actor, followed by Lee Joon Ki, Lee Jong Suk, Song Joong Ki, and Ji Chang Wook.

Park Shin Hye is named the most popular actress, followed by Gong Hyo Jin, Lee Ji Eun (IU), Song Hye Gyo, and Hwang Jung Eum.

Descendants of the Sun, starring Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Gyo, is picked as the most favorite K-drama for American fans, leading over other popular dramas, Scarlet Heart: Ryeo, W, Cinderella and Four Knights, and Oh My Venus.
